The sad fact is that kidney disease can sometimes be a fatal condition. Dealing with the loss of a loved one whether a friend or family member, is a very difficult time. If you have suffered a recent loss, please accept our sincere condolences.
At times of bereavement, families often wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers for a loved one. If you are arranging a funeral and would like to advise friends and relatives to make a donation in lieu of flowers, we can supply you with special envelopes to send out with the funeral notice. To order these envelopes please call Irene Chambers on 0161 276 6671
Donations can be used to fund vital research into kidney disease to save lives and help to provide a brighter future for those suffering from renal disease or contribute to the provision of specialist medical equipment. We hope you can take comfort from knowing that your kind support will benefit kidney patients both now, and in the future.
There are several ways to make an in memoriam donation – you may wish to visit the Appeals Office in person. Alternatively, if you feel that visiting the hospital is still too painful for you, you may wish our Fundraising Manager to visit you at home, Funeral Directors are usually agreeable in offering to organise collection of contributions and take responsibility for forwarding them to us, or you can send a cheque made payable to Kidneys for Life to

A donation to Kidneys for Life is a very special way to remember a loved one, helping give health and life to those who remain.
When you make an in memoriam donation, we will send a personal letter to the next of kin of the person honored by your donation with the total sum given and a list naming the donors. (The amounts of individual donations are never disclosed)
You may also wish to set up a Tribute Fund for remembering someone special.
