We have a small number of charity places again in 2012 and if you are interested in taking up one of these places please contact Irene Chambers. Alternatively if you would like to register for your own place registration is currently open. We had a lot of interest in the Junior & Mini Runs last year and these are to take place on Saturday, 19 May 2012 details of which are not yet available but you can register an interest at www.greatrun.org
Parachuting
If you have ever wanted to do a parachute jump here is your chance, Kidneys for Life are looking for volunteers to make a fundraising jump ! There are three types of jump available – a 6 Jump Solo Freefall Course where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet, a “Tandem Skydive” from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a “Static Line” jump which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet. No experience is necessary as all training is given.
